Train
Zero Confirmation
beginnerThree shots to confirm your zero hasn't drifted. Run this at the start of every range session.
Three shots fired with controlled trigger press. Group center should land within ½" of point of aim. If it lands outside 1", you need a cold zero correction before further training.
100-yard target. Dial to your confirmed zero. Fire from the same position you zeroed from. Use a fresh aim point — not a shot-up center.
Measure the group center deviation from your aiming point (vertical and horizontal). Under ½" center deviation = confirmed zero. ½"–1" = acceptable drift, note and re-zero when conditions match. Over 1" = re-zero required.
