Reload Confirmation (Dry)
beginnerStanding, as carried/run — DRY (no live ammo)A carbine you can't keep running is a club. Groove a smooth speed reload that seats first-try, every time — trained dry.
Perform 10 speed reloads: on an empty (bolt locked back), drop the empty mag, seat a fresh mag with a confirming tug, release the bolt, and re-establish the firing grip — keeping the rifle in your workspace with eyes up. Smooth, not frantic.
DRY PRACTICE ONLY — verify the carbine is unloaded, use dummy/snap-cap magazines, no live ammo in the room. Standing, rifle at a ready as you'd run it.
Pass: all 10 reps seat the magazine first-try with eyes up and a clean re-grip. Fail: a fumbled or unseated mag, or eyes dropping to the gun. Smooth is fast — repeat until automatic.
