Failure to Stop (2 + 1)
intermediateStanding, unsupportedTwo rounds to the body, one to the head — trained as a problem-solving sequence. The head shot is small and demands the close-range high hold.
Fire two rounds to the body vital zone, then transition and fire one round to the head box. The head shot must account for mechanical offset (hold high up close) and earns its own sight picture — the first two can be fast, the third cannot be rushed.
Standing, unsupported. A target with a body (vital zone) and a distinct head box, at 7–10 yards. From a ready position.
Pass: both body rounds in the vital zone AND the head round in the head box. Fail: any miss, or a head shot low/out of the box (offset not applied). Assess effect and adapt — that's the point of the drill.
